9. January 2025Effective January 2, 2025, the Waldbach Group will acquire the insolvent Isseltrans Freight / Logistics GmbH based in Isselburg. All 25 employees of the company, founded in 1997, will be retained. With this acquisition, Waldbach gains a modern and attractive warehouse location near the Dutch border.
(Nelle/Isselburg) Waldbach’s fleet will grow by 10 to a total of 50 pulling units with this transaction. The Waldbach Group consists of the companies Waldbach Fulfillment Logistics e.K. and WTL Transport – Logistics GmbH. While Waldbach Fulfillment Logistics focuses on providing warehousing and logistics services, WTL specializes in transport logistics. The various activities of Isseltrans will be integrated into the Waldbach Group.
“With Isseltrans in Isselburg, we are expanding our network with another modern location that gives us good access to Holland and the Benelux countries,” explains Björn Waldbach, whose company now has six of its own warehouse locations. The acquisition at the beginning of the year will ensure that Isseltrans’s business operations continue seamlessly, fulfilling all obligations to customers. “We are pleased to have found an investor in Waldbach Fulfillment Logistics who will continue our business with our competent team,” admits the former owner and managing director of Isseltrans, Arno Stockhorst.

The modern building was completely rebuilt in 2021 after a major fire. The operational areas have been used, among other things, for a 4,500 sqm block storage and a 10,000 sqm open storage area. Isseltrans serves a range of customers from the plant trade, construction, chemicals, food, pet food, as well as the textile and packaging industries. The company has been owner-managed for the second generation. Arno Stockhorst took over a few years ago from his father, Clemens Stockhorst.
Waldbach Fulfillment Logistics is a logistics service provider founded in 2012 that offers a variety of freight and warehousing services for customers in the food and non-food sectors. The owner-managed company employs nearly 170 staff and has more than 60,000 sqm of logistics space spread across 6 locations. In addition to the logistics center at its headquarters in Melle, the medium-sized company operates additional warehouses in Lübbecke, Preußisch Oldendorf, Kirchlengern, Crailsheim, and Isselburg.
