MLP Business Park Vienna Welcomes Two More Tenants
Jan 16, 2025 at 5:48 PMThe LogiMAT 2025 occupies all ten halls of the Stuttgart exhibition center with more than 120,000 square meters of exhibition space. From March 11 to 13, global players, medium-sized companies, and start-ups will provide a complete overview of the current products and innovations in the intralogistics industry with numerous world premieres, offering solutions to current challenges.
(Munich/Stuttgart) Under the motto “Passion for Solutions,” LogiMAT, the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, opens the trade fair year 2025 for logistics professionals, system developers, and machine builders. From March 11 to 13 of this year, the intralogistics world from more than 80 nations will meet again in the ten fully booked halls of the Stuttgart exhibition center and the entire East entrance area. More than 1,500 international exhibitors, around 200 of whom are participating in LogiMAT for the first time, will present their latest products, solutions, and innovations for efficient intralogistics to the professional audience on over 120,000 square meters of exhibition space. “In light of global upheavals and the currently profound transformation in industry and trade, LogiMAT plays a special role this year,” says LogiMAT exhibition director Michael Ruchty from the Munich organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. “Especially the central themes of artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability, and the shortage of skilled labor characterize diverse challenges as overarching megatrends and drivers. At LogiMAT, exhibitors across all industry segments will showcase solutions and the latest developments to effectively address these challenges.”
Plant Performance and Sustainability
For example, the manufacturers of racks and machines, system integrators, and conveyor technology providers in Hall 1, including the gallery, as well as in Halls 3, 5, and 7 will present new compact storage systems for pallet and container storage, new pocket sorters, and system shuttles with new features. In addition to AI-supported automation and digitization, the traditionally strongest exhibitor group increasingly links plant performance with sustainability. Flexible system solutions with high energy efficiency are intended to support the longevity of plants and the future viability of investments with reusable components. Furthermore, the integration of robotic technology for seamless collaboration between humans and machines complements the product portfolio presented by several exhibitors in this industry segment.
FTF, AMR, and Carrybots for Barrier-Free Transport
Industrial robots are considered a key factor in the intralogistics industry for optimizing processes and addressing the labor shortage. The latest developments in the field of pick robots can be observed, among other places, in the gallery of Hall 1. In addition to shuttles for the racked storage systems, several machine and plant manufacturers will also present new and further developed service robots for barrier-free internal transport. These automated guided vehicles (AGVs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and carrybots will also be largely concentrated in Hall 8 at LogiMAT 2025. There, specialized manufacturers will particularly showcase new developments in transport robots and picking robots aimed at alleviating the labor shortage. Additionally, the user forum for mobile robotics will again offer competent, neutral advice from members of the Forum-AGV to AGV users and potential interested parties in mobile robotics in the gallery of Hall 6 in 2025.
Forklift Manufacturers Present Innovations and World Premieres
The further development of AGVs, classic industrial trucks (IFTs), and assistance systems also shapes the appearances of forklift manufacturers in Hall 9 and in Hall 10, located on the south wing of the exhibition center. At LogiMAT 2025, all major international industry players will again be represented with their latest product range. The manufacturers have announced, among other things, the presentation of new 3- and 4-wheel forklifts, new counterbalance forklifts for the segment up to two tons, a new series of electric side loaders, and the market premiere of the world’s first automated cobot for pallet transport. In addition, exhibitors plan to launch innovations in the field of alternative drives and provide insights into the near and distant future of intralogistics through robots, drones, and autonomous vehicles. In Halls 9 and 7, trade visitors will also find the latest developments from suppliers of cranes, gates, and loading technology, as well as innovative devices and solutions for fire protection.
Sustainability and Process Efficiency
Directly next to Hall 8, exhibitors of packaging technology and providers of container and storage solutions will present their current product range in Hall 6. In light of the new EU Packaging Regulation, the sustainability aspect is particularly high on the agenda in these product segments. This is reflected, among other things, in offerings for right-sized packaging, strapping machines with paper straps, intelligent reusable packaging, and reusable labels. Furthermore, new high-performance packaging lines, further developed mobile transport systems, innovative scanner hardware, RTLS and RFID solutions, e-paper and radio-controlled digital labels, as well as sensor-supported high-speed gates are intended to support process efficiency in the warehouse.
AI-Based Functions and Algorithms
The basis for connected information exchange in intralogistics and supply chain, alongside auto-ID technologies for coding and capturing, is an intelligent IT infrastructure. The latest IT solution approaches for future-proof warehouse, transport, and supply chain management with consistently networked data exchange will be presented by software companies at LogiMAT 2025 in Hall 4. In addition to the coordinated control of efficient processes and comprehensive cloud solutions that reduce investment costs for users, this year, the modularization of systems as well as AI-based functions and algorithms for intelligent filtering and analysis of data are in the foreground. The innovations presented enable, among other things, packaging and packing scheme optimizations, AI-supported process optimizations for trailer, container, and swap body exchanges, and extensive simulations with virtual commissioning or the creation of digital twins of production and logistics processes for analysis and optimizations.
Labeling and Capturing Directly in the Material Flow
Completing the hall tour are the exhibitors from the auto-ID industry with their appearance in Hall 2. In addition to the live event tracking & tracing theatre (T&T) of AIM-D, trade visitors can view the current applicators as well as semi- and fully automatic labeling and label printing systems for labeling directly in the material flow. Furthermore, the latest developments in safety, e-paper, RFID, and reusable labels will be presented. In the field of capturing systems, the audience can expect the latest handheld scanners and scanning terminals, measuring and weighing systems, as well as near-field and RTLS solutions.
Information Advantage on Current Trends
“In combination with the updated supporting program, LogiMAT, as a central international industry meeting point, provides exhibitors and professionals with an information advantage on current trends and at the same time planning security for new projects at the beginning of the year,” summarizes exhibition director Ruchty. “LogiMAT comprehensively conveys knowledge as well as future-proof products and solutions for practice. Therefore, in light of the ongoing challenges posed by digitization, automation, and geopolitical upheavals, we expect again rising visitor numbers and look forward to three exciting trade fair days in Stuttgart.”
