6. March 2025The online retailer Galaxus is restructuring the areas of supply chain management and logistics under the leadership of Robert Brohl. He will be responsible for around 1,400 employees at three locations in Switzerland and one in Germany. An additional 1,000 employees are expected to be added in Neuenburg am Rhein by 2030.
Brohl has been working at Galaxus in Krefeld since mid-2020. He initially started as the site manager, and in 2022 he became the Head of Supply Chain Management for Digitec Galaxus in Switzerland and for Galaxus Germany, overseeing around 30 experts. From now on, the logistics managers and their teams in Krefeld, as well as in the Swiss locations of Wohlen, Dintikon (CH), Roggwil (CH), and Oftringen (CH), will report to the PhD logistics expert. Brohl is thus responsible for around 1,400 employees.
The logistics teams at the Neuenburg am Rhein location, which is currently under construction, will also report to him in the future. By 2030, around 1,000 new employees are expected to be hired in Neuenburg, a large portion of whom will be logistics specialists and experts from IT, process management, technology, and more, also reporting to Robert Brohl.
Michael Stolle, Managing Director of Galaxus Germany and COO of Digitec Galaxus: “Robert Brohl combines practical logistics expertise, proven experience in managing large growth projects, and an inclusive and appreciative leadership style that aligns with our Galaxus culture. I am very much looking forward to the further development of our logistics organization under his leadership.”
