The MOSOLF Group Celebrates Its 70th Anniversary
18. March 2025The LogiMAT 2025 concluded last Thursday after three exciting and successful days of the trade fair, with consistently high public attendance and further increases in exhibitor presence and exhibition space. The excellent overall result solidifies the position of the LogiMAT brand as the world’s leading trade fair for intralogistics and process management.
(Munich/Stuttgart) Under the motto “Passion for Solutions,” the international intralogistics community gathered from March 11 to 13 in Stuttgart for LogiMAT 2025, the International Trade Fair for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management. After three days of presentations, information, and trend checks, industry professionals, exhibitors, and trade fair management draw a positive balance. On more than 125,000 square meters of gross exhibition space, the organizer concentrated 1,625 exhibitors from 40 countries in the fully booked ten halls of the Stuttgart exhibition grounds this year – including more than 300 first-time exhibitors. “Through more efficient design, an additional 1,000 square meters were gained for a total of 68,192 square meters of net exhibition space and more exhibitors,” explains LogiMAT trade fair director Michael Ruchty from the organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. More than one in three exhibitors (35.9%) came from abroad this year – with a quarter from overseas and Asia.
They presented their latest product developments for efficiency and sustainability in intralogistics over the three trade fair days – including around 140 world and European premieres. Numerous exhibitors, such as the Swiss Brabender Group, also reported significant contract signings, project initiations, and, like the supply chain solution provider Ecovium, battery provider Wiferion, software company TUP, or AI robotics company Sereact, the signing of strategic partnerships and collaborations. In total, 22.1 percent of the trade visitors at the fair awarded contracts or will place orders immediately after the fair. “The numerous contract signings underscore the character of LogiMAT as a working trade fair,” says trade fair director Ruchty.
Half of the Visitors Were Decision-Makers
With 65,719 trade visitors (2024: 67,420) over the three trade fair days, the intralogistics fair shows a consistently high level of visitor attendance. “Despite the strikes in the trade fair environment at airports and in public transport, LogiMAT 2025 achieved nearly the record result of the previous year in visitor numbers,” says trade fair director Ruchty with satisfaction. According to evaluations by the independent Basel market research institute Wissler & Partner, half of the trade visitors (49.9%) were decision-makers on site. 36.4 percent of the professional audience informed themselves at LogiMAT against the backdrop of concrete investment plans. Broken down by industry, 55 percent of the fair visitors belong to the industrial sector, 11.2 percent to wholesale and retail. More than 40 percent of trade visitors had a travel distance of over 300 kilometers. 23.1 percent of guests came from outside Germany to Stuttgart – nearly half (9.4%) from Asia, Africa, and America. The furthest travelers were the Australian companies.
Supporting Program at Congress Level
“In addition to the pure showcase of performance, fundamental soft skills in the concept of LogiMAT characterize the success of the fair,” summarizes LogiMAT trade fair director Michael Ruchty. “Among other things, the exchange of information in a supporting program at congress level, exciting live events, and the user forum on mobile robotics shape the added value of LogiMAT.” The further optimized concept of the career and networking event LogiMAT Campus has also proven successful on the last day of the fair compared to the previous year. “This was launched last year to expand the recruiting tools of the exhibitors. The platform aims to open a door into logistics for competent job candidates,” specifies trade fair director Ruchty. “At the new location in the ICS foyer, exhibitors recorded significantly more interested parties than last year.” 16 prominent exhibitors informed professionals and young talents on-site about career opportunities in their companies.
“With the overall positive response from industry professionals and exhibitors, LogiMAT has firmly established itself as a trend barometer, networking platform, and working trade fair in the international environment,” summarizes trade fair director Ruchty. “It is the superlative industry meeting for the intralogistics sector.”
