LPR – La Palette Rouge, a division of the Euro Pool Group and specialist in pallet pooling for retail and FMCG, is pleased to announce the successful renewal of its PEFC certification for the next five years. This confirms their ongoing commitment to sustainable forest management.
(Rijswijk) The certification was originally obtained in 2010 and applies to all subsidiaries of the group. The audit for the extension in 2025 was conducted at several locations – including in the Benelux countries, Portugal, Poland, and at LPR’s headquarters in Toulouse – and confirmed that the LPR division fully meets the PEFC requirements without deviations.
The certification ensures independently and verifiably that the wood used for the production of LPR pallets comes exclusively from sustainably managed forests, with no links to deforestation or forest degradation.
Beyond the requirements: enhanced responsible action
In line with its commitment to more sustainable logistics, LPR – La Palette Rouge goes a step further by sourcing wood exclusively from European forests. This ensures traceability and a lower CO₂ footprint. Furthermore, 100% of the company’s manufacturers and suppliers are PEFC, FSC, or even double certified – a sign of a demanding and responsible purchasing policy.
