Schoeller and Fiege Establish Joint Venture Multiloop
24. April 2025In recent days, the digital logistics start-up Warespace has significantly expanded the short-term bookable storage spaces available through its Palletspace platform. This development results from the opening of the portal to logistics service providers and warehousing companies outside of the previous Warespace partner network. The Warespace founders expect this expanded access to increase the offered storage capacities by 10,000 percent by the end of 2025.
(Paderborn) With this offering, the Paderborn company can precisely support customers from industry and trade in a volatile market situation with rapid demand for storage spaces – including excellent digital know-how for flexible, efficient, and cost-optimized planning and execution of projects.
“From our perspective, the increasing demand for dynamic, digitally designed services for space booking requires quickly scalable solutions. Through the opening of Palletspace, we can now offer this to the market,” explains Sebastian Richter, founder and managing director of Warespace, the motivation for this step. Jonas Tritschallek, also a founder and managing director, adds: “We are increasing the accessible range of storage options for pallet goods for users of our application to an unprecedented extent.”
Without rigid structures, Warespace provides shippers with short-term access to available storage spaces in Germany, in many other countries of the European internal market, and other economies on the continent. Regular audits regarding the implementation of safety standards and the warehousing competencies of the bookable storage locations guarantee the quality promise associated with the commissioning, even beyond the previous anchor partners of the start-up spun off from Cargo Digital World (CDW) in April 2024.
On Course for Growth
Thanks to real-time transparency, customers are always informed about the status of their already stored goods as well as the availability of additional capacities, for example, for highly demanded and therefore quickly reproduced goods. “This way, peak loads can be ideally covered, and the supply of storage space never runs out for us, given the platform model,” states Jonas Tritschallek.
