Liebherr Delivers Two Cranes for Bulk Terminal in India

The collaboration with Green Energy Resources marks a targeted entry for Liebherr into one of the most demanding bulk terminals in India. The project demonstrates how Liebherr can deliver powerful cranes fully assembled and tailored to complex berth conditions.

(Rostock/Visakhapatnam) Optimal load capacity for logistics growth on the east coast of India. The LHM 550 cranes selected for this project are specifically designed for intensive bulk operations and combine a four-rope grab system with a safe lifting capacity of 124 tons to ensure optimal material flow and reduced cycle times. Their electric drive systems provide energy efficiency, while the integrated overpressure systems protect critical components from abrasive dust and moisture. This is a crucial feature for the coastal port environment in India.

The cranes are delivered fully assembled and are ready for operation within a few days of arrival, eliminating the need for on-site assembly and minimally disrupting operations at the berth. This configuration not only enhances productivity but also aligns with Green Energy Resources’ commitment to sustainable and future-proof infrastructure.
