4. September 2025Addicks & Kreye Container Service GmbH & Co. KG, Bremerhaven, is taking the next step towards digitalization and automation: The company has signed a software license agreement with the EUROGATE IT platform operateMybox for the depot operation module and is integrating the forecasting tool Conroo.
(Bremerhaven/Hamburg) The agreement secures Addicks & Kreye access to a state-of-the-art cloud-based depot solution – a proven software module that is already successfully in use at REMAIN GmbH Container – Depot and Repair in Hamburg. The digital representation and automation of central workflows have led to increased efficiency and transparency while simultaneously opening up further optimization potentials – especially in conjunction with CONROO, to enable further automation and efficiency in daily depot operations.
Complete range of processes
The module operateMybox Depot has been developed to digitize and streamline the entire range of processes in the container depot. It manages container handling, storage management, repair and maintenance processes, as well as invoicing and reporting.
All tasks are centralized in a single, cloud-based system, providing depot operators with real-time transparency, smoother workflows, and seamless integration into surrounding logistics systems. The rollout in Bremerhaven once again demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability of the module to different customer requirements, whether in the office or out on the yard with mobile devices.
Enhanced with intelligent forecasting tool
The CONROO feature enhances the operateMybox Depot module with an intelligent forecasting, automated gate and yard handling solution for truck drivers. Truck arrivals are digitally planned, gate processing is autonomous, and the assignment of yard positions is done via an app, reducing waiting times and congestion in the depot. For drivers, this means faster turnaround times; for operators, it ensures smoother capacity planning on the yard and better resource utilization.
“With this step, we are increasing the level of digitalization and automation in our depot operations. For us, it is an important investment in the future competitiveness of our Bremerhaven location,” says Andreas Kellner, Managing Director of Addicks & Kreye.
“We are proud to advance this project together with operateMybox and EUROGATE IT. With the operateMybox Depot module and the planned integration of CONROO, we are setting new standards in the operation of container depots,” adds Malte Bruns, Head of Operations at Addicks & Kreye.
The license agreement includes a one-time setup with full integration into the systems of Container Service Bremerhaven – making the solution immediately ready for use. EUROGATE IT acts as the software provider, while Addicks & Kreye will benefit from continuous updates, scalability, and integration options within the operateMybox ecosystem.
Bremerhaven project as a strong example
“We are excited to embark on this journey together with Addicks & Kreye. The Bremerhaven project is another strong example of how our operateMybox modules create immediate value in real operations – and how partnerships can accelerate the digital transformation of logistics,” says Patrick Jandt, Head of EUROGATE IT.
