28. October 2025About 220 representatives of the members of the European network ASTRE Europe gathered in mid-October for the annual general meeting in Prague. Under the guiding theme “Vision, Community, and Harmony,” they discussed the future of the transport and logistics industry. The congress serves as a central platform for cooperation, innovation, and strategic alignment within the European association.
(Le Plessis Pâté/Prague) The focus of the event was on topics such as innovation, entrepreneurship, and cooperative development. In addition to inspiring presentations, including those on entrepreneurial dynamics and the strength of the network exemplified by ASTRE Italy, the meeting provided space for mutual exchange on future guidelines for the cooperative.
The DACH region was also present in the Czech capital and actively participated in the discourse: Representatives from Nothegger, J.S. Logistics, and Moeller, member companies from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, actively engaged in the workshops and discussions, moderated by Denis Baudouin, President of ASTRE Europe. They contributed their perspectives on sustainability, digital transformation, and European networking, thus providing valuable impulses for the further development of the network.
“The congress gives us the opportunity to work together on the major strategic goals of ASTRE Europe,” explains Ingo Malsbenden, Managing Director of ASTRE DACH member Moeller – International Freight Forwarding + Logistics GmbH. “Sustainability, industry change, and increased European cooperation are also of central importance for the medium-sized transport and logistics companies in our DACH region. Close cooperation at the European level allows us to create synergies, open up new markets, and at the same time preserve our values of reliability, quality, and solidarity.”
A special moment was the concluding musical experience, which symbolized the agreement and cohesion within the network. All participants learned the basic handling of a classical instrument and then played a melody together. This symbolizes the ASTRE cooperation model that has been lived for more than three decades: Every voice counts – and only together does harmony emerge.
Engagement is the Heart of the Network
Denis Baudouin concludes: “Beyond exchange and reflection, the engagement and shared conviction of our members form the heart of our network. This was impressively evident at this year’s congress.”
