Emirates concludes 2025 with a multitude of awards
Emirates has successfully wrapped up the year 2025 with a variety of accolades. At the 32nd World Travel Awards held in Bahrain, the airline received a total of five international awards. These honors recognize both the Emirates brand and its inflight entertainment system, ice, which was also awarded. Other accolades include awards for the first-class experience onboard and in the lounges, as well as for the Emirates Skywards loyalty program, which was named the World’s Leading Airline Rewards Programme 2025.
Diverse Honors for Emirates
In total, Emirates received more than 20 awards in 2025. Among the recent honors are the titles „World’s Leading Airline Brand 2025“ and „World’s Leading Airline Inflight Entertainment 2025“ for the inflight entertainment system ice. Additionally, the Emirates First Class Lounge at Terminal 3 of Dubai International Airport was recognized as the „World’s Leading Airline Lounge – First Class 2025.“ These achievements underscore the airline’s ongoing efforts to provide its passengers with a top-tier travel experience.
In November 2025, Emirates was named „World’s Best Airline“ for the eighth consecutive time at the ULTRAs Travel Awards. This award is based on votes from 1.2 million travelers from the global Ultratravel network. Furthermore, Emirates received the award for the „Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class.“ Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates, was honored with a „Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation.“
The airline also received recognition from Aviation Business Middle East, which awarded Emirates the titles „Best First Class of the Year“ and „Airline of the Year.“ At the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards 2025, Emirates triumphed in the categories „Best International Airline,“ „Best International First Class,“ and „Best International Airline Lounge.“ Additionally, Emirates was named „Best Long-Haul Airline“ at The Times & The Sunday Times Travel Awards 2025.
In September 2025, Emirates was awarded the 2026 APEX Best™ Global Entertainment Award for its inflight entertainment system ice at the APEX/IFSA Global EXPO in Long Beach, California. The airline also received the 2026 APEX WORLD CLASS™ Award for its comprehensive customer service and brand quality standards.
At the beginning of 2025, Emirates had already garnered several honors, including the title „Best Long-Haul Airline“ at the Telegraph Travel Awards and „2025’s Most Recommended Global Brand“ from YouGov. Additionally, Emirates was recognized at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards in multiple categories, including „Best Airline Worldwide“ for the twelfth consecutive time, as well as „Best First Class,“ „Best Premium Economy Class,“ and „Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East.“
