13. January 2021The CHEP pallet pooling network will continue to be the pallet partner of the IFOY Award in the coming years. CHEP provides pallets and containers for the IFOY Test Day. The pallet network has been supporting the IFOY Award for five years and looks forward to further collaboration.
(Ismaning/Munich) The pooling network will continue to provide pallets and containers for the IFOY TEST DAYS of the IFOY Award. The IFOY TEST DAYS will take place from March 22 to March 26 at the Dortmund Messe grounds. The test pallets and containers at the IFOY Award will remain blue in the coming years. The CHEP pooling network has extended its contract as the official partner of the IFOY Award and will continue to provide various load carriers for the IFOY TEST DAYS.
Leading Role in Shaping Waste-Free Intralogistics Standards

Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY) has Established Itself
The International Intralogistics and Forklift Truck of the Year (IFOY Award) has established itself as an indicator of economic efficiency and innovation and is considered a significant innovation award in intralogistics. The jury, composed of the editors-in-chief of international leading logistics media, decides independently based on transparent criteria and professional expertise. The basis for the decision is a three-stage audit. The devices and solutions nominated for the final undergo individually tailored driving or functional tests during the IFOY TEST DAYS, including the approximately 80 criteria of the IFOY test protocol and the scientific IFOY Innovation Check. It is crucial that the nominees are not compared with each other but with their competitive devices on the market.
Next IFOY Test Days in March 2021
The next IFOY TEST DAYS will take place from March 22 to March 26, 2021, at the Dortmund Messe grounds. The IFOY Award, which is under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, is organized by the VDMA’s specialist association for materials handling and intralogistics.
