26. April 2021Even though the ongoing pandemic situation does not allow for physical meetings and networking in Munich at the international trade fair transport logistic this year, the Rhenus Group offers its customers and interested parties the opportunity to schedule virtual appointments with their personal contact person. These can be booked immediately through the Rhenus trade fair website. In addition, the logistics service provider is represented in the conference program of the fair with six exciting panels.
(Holzwickede) The online alternative to the physical meeting at the trade fair takes place throughout the week from May 3 to May 7. Appointments with various contacts from the respective business units and on specific topics can be booked via the website www.rhenus.group/en/tl2021.
“It is important to us that we maintain closeness to and exchange with our customers, partners, and interested parties even during pandemic times. We believe that our conversation offering can provide an alternative to networking at the trade fair booth that many interested parties will take advantage of,” explains Dr. Stephan Peters, Board Member of Rhenus, regarding this year’s dialogue format.
Participation in the Conference Program
Rhenus is not only present in individual discussions at transport logistic but is also participating particularly intensively in the conference program this year. Jan Harnisch, COO Global of Rhenus Air & Ocean, will discuss the development of container shipping post-Corona on May 4 at 1:00 PM, while André Delarue, COO Airfreight Rhenus Asia Pacific, will simultaneously talk about capacity bottlenecks and rising air freight rates.
The topic of sustainability will also be highlighted: Sascha Hähnke, Managing Director of Rhenus Transport, will give a presentation on alternative drives in practice on May 4 at 2:30 PM, and the sustainability officer Isa Kohn will provide information on CO2 savings in logistics on May 5 at 10:00 AM. Dr. Stephan Peters will report on the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic and crisis management at Rhenus on the same day starting at 11:30 AM. On the last day of the trade fair, Sascha Hähnke will discuss more efficient ramp processes, among other topics.
