LIP Invest: Market Report Q3 2022 “Logistics Real Estate Germany”
20. November 2022The Rother corporate group HEINLOTH – the logistic experts, has been successfully operating in the logistics of refrigerated furniture for many years and has further expanded its extensive offerings. The services in this area include procurement transport, storage, refurbishment of used equipment, and picking of brand new refrigerated furniture. Additionally, HEINLOTH customizes the accessories of the refrigerated furniture as needed to meet specific end customer requirements.
(Roth near Nuremberg) A reliable coordination of delivery, the delivery of refrigerated furniture using special equipment, unloading on-site, removal of transport packaging, and setting up in the respective retail store “free use location” is a matter of course for Andreas Först, Managing Director of Contract Logistics at HEINLOTH: “The guiding principle is that customers receive everything from a single source, and this certainly determines our actions when expanding our portfolio.” The goal is to provide the customer with as much support as possible, all the way to final assembly and commissioning, Först continues.
Logistics Expertise from a Single Source – Also for Refrigerated Furniture
The on-site delivery is usually preceded by a project-related picking of accessories and spare parts for the installation of the equipment. The necessary equipment and the required quantities are determined in close coordination with the customer’s site managers and other responsible parties for the construction trades on-site. The possibilities for delivery and the detailed coordination on the day of delivery itself are coordinated by HEINLOTH with all parties involved, the customer, and the responsible parties for the trades, directly.
Future Vision for Manufacturers of Refrigerated Furniture and Shop Fitters
Currently, HEINLOTH can deliver to free use locations in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Austria. As large retail chains already operate across Europe, the logistics provider is pursuing further expansion. Regarding pure procurement logistics, HEINLOTH can already meet demand across Europe. Furthermore, the company is expanding its offerings to supply customers not only with refrigerated furniture but also with shelves, sales, and presentation counters. “We want to offer the entire shop concept,” describes Först his future vision. “In this way, we reach all those manufacturers of these products who have a delivery obligation to free use locations in the market.”
