L.I.T. Group Establishes L.I.T. Solutions GmbH for Projects
30. November 2022SWAN GmbH is responding to its growth over the past years by investing in two locations. The branch in Nuremberg has received a large expansion of 340 m2. This has created space for at least 20 new workplaces and communal areas. The previous location in Altenstadt an der Waldnaab will soon move to Weiden, where 16 workplaces can be found in a modern energy-efficient building.
(Augsburg/Nuremberg/Weiden) Since its founding over ten years ago, the SAP logistics experts at SWAN have grown to about 140 employees and seven locations. This development calls for spatial changes. Two locations have now been expanded by the end of the year. The office in Nuremberg, with around 35 employees, is one of the three major branches of SWAN after the headquarters in Augsburg and the location in Giebelstadt, and received an expansion area of 340 m2 at the beginning of November. For this purpose, the SAP logisticians rented a second floor in the existing office building. This has created around 20 new workplaces, including some flexible workspaces. A modern open-space tier, additional shared work areas for up to nine people, and a large meeting room also find their place here.
The employees at the Altenstadt an der Waldnaab location are looking forward to new premises in Weiden, six kilometers away, starting mid-December. The special feature: the SWAN team is moving into a newly constructed energy-efficient building in the city center. Contemporary design and many wooden elements ensure a pleasant room climate. The ecological building offers 324 m2 of space for twice as many employees as before. In addition to 16 modern individual workstations, the new building features various open multifunctional areas that meet the demands of agile working methods and hybrid teams. Whether it’s a cozy lounge area, a flexible tiered seating arrangement, or a spacious, green rooftop terrace – the premises offer plenty of communal spaces.
Variable Flexible Workspaces
SWAN is addressing the needs of modern work models in the design of the new offices. “We want to create more space for our employees. With variable flexible workspaces and open-space solutions, we aim to meet the requirements of our New Work philosophy as best as possible,” says Yvonne Oehme, authorized signatory of SWAN GmbH.
