Apr 11, 2024 at 3:44 PMWith the opening of a new branch in Bucharest starting April 8, 2024, the NOSTA Group is further expanding its presence in Romania. Following the launch of the first branch in Cluj-Napoca at the end of 2023, the Osnabrück-based full-service logistics provider is now taking the step into the capital of the country. The Bucharest team of the Romanian subsidiary NOSTA Logistics S.R.L. will primarily focus on sea and air freight solutions for national and international customers.
(Osnabrück/Bucharest) The dynamic region in and around Bucharest hosts a wide range of potential customers from various industries, which Managing Director Szilard Sarkozi and his team will serve with tailored logistics solutions.
“Romania is an interesting and rapidly growing market. Since we expanded our international location network with our first Romanian branch at the end of 2023, it has been clear that we will quickly expand our presence in the country,” explains Ivo Aris, COO Global Sea & Air of the NOSTA Group. The branch in Bucharest is part of the logistics provider’s ongoing internationalization strategy. After the NOSTA Group has already been cooperating with local driving schools for several years and opened the location in Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest is the third step in this process.
Szilard Sarkozi, who leads the business in Romania, is very much looking forward to the next developments of NOSTA Logistics S.R.L.: “Our goal is to be even closer to new and existing customers. In Bucharest, we will be available for more potential clientele and a variety of industries, especially for sea and air freight.” With this focus, the new office is a very good complement to the existing branch in Cluj-Napoca, which mainly concentrates on road transport solutions. “Nevertheless, our growing team of logistics experts in both branches is well-equipped to handle shipments across all modes of transport,” says Sarkozi.
Integrated into the Internal Network
In these various modes of transport, the Romanian team has a significant advantage: “We are firmly integrated into the extensive international NOSTA network and can thus support our customers worldwide,” explains Sarkozi. Combined with competent consulting at eye level and high-quality customer service from his team, the Managing Director sees plenty of room for future growth of the company.
